Comstock might be out in the middle of nowhere, but the bustling Comstock Creamery is on the way up north and is a must-stop for tasty necessities. Travelers and locals alike stock up on their favorite cheeses, browsing the largest selection of Wisconsin-made cheeses in the area, including our world famous cheese curds made in Ellsworth. New cheese creations are often tested and rolled out to customers before being made available to gourmet cheese shops and grocers. That’s how you can be among the first to get your hands on trending flavor combinations like Buffalo Wing Jack and Habanero Ghost Pepper Jack cheeses (be careful, it’s hot!).
In the retail store at our cheese factory in Comstock, you’ll find a well-stocked wine and beer department featuring regional labels such as New Glarus and Wollersheim, Door Peninsula Winery, Three Lakes Winery, and more. Of course the real beauty of wine and cheese is enjoying them together, which is why you’ll want to grab a free wine/beer pairing guide during your visit.
Many other locally made foods can be purchased too, including specialty meats, cheese curd brats, take and bake pizzas and Flo’s Fudge. Be sure to eye up the deli case during your visit; they’re known throughout the area for their delicious deli sandwiches.
Shoppers will also enjoy browsing souvenirs, gift items and unique kitchenware and home accessories.
Locate all your favorite cheese products at our Comstock Creamery. Our retail store features our world famous cheese curds, award-winning cheeses, and new and exclusive cheese creations that we haven’t yet made available elsewhere. If you are a cheese connoisseur and you happen to be in the area, don’t miss the chance to visit us, taste our products, and learn about how we do it.
