Cheese Ball
Packed with bold flavor and plenty of cheese, this cheese ball is a game-day staple that belongs on every snack table. Adapted recipe from One Sweet Appetite.
Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1 3/4 cup Ellsworth Sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 oz ranch dressing mix packet (1 packet)
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 2-3 tbsp green onion chopped
- 5 pieces bacon cooked and crumbled
Method
- Add the cream cheese, Ellsworth sharp cheddar, ranch seasoning, sour cream, bacon bits, and green onions to a large bowl. Mix well until the texture is smooth and everything is evenly combined.
- Place a sheet of plastic wrap inside a separate bowl and spoon the cheese mixture into it.
- Pull the plastic wrap up around the mixture and carefully shape it into a ball, letting the bowl support and maintain its form.
- Refrigerate the wrapped cheese ball for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible, to let it firm up and the flavors develop. Before serving, unwrap and transfer to a platter to serve.
