June Dairy Month: Curds, Community, and Celebration

There’s so much to celebrate during June Dairy Month! From community events and farm breakfasts to festivals and cheese curd fun, we’re excited to spend the month connecting with the communities we serve and celebrating the dairy industry together. Take a look at the events below and mark your calendar!

Goodhue County Dairy Breakfast 

  • Friday, June 5th 
  • 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Bombay Dairy 
  • 6045 Hwy 60 Blvd, Kenyon, MN 55946 

Hosted by the Lexvold family, the Goodhue County Dairy Breakfast will include a free breakfast, farm tours, a petting zoo, activities for kids, music, and Princess Kay of the Milky Way. Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery will be deep frying cheese curds at the event!

Barron County Dairy Breakfast 

  • Saturday, June 6th 
  • 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
  • Nelson Farms 
  • 905 7 1/2 Ave, Barron, WI, 54812 

Hosted by the Nelson family, the Barron County Dairy Breakfast offers a breakfast made with all Wisconsin products, ice cream, and Ellsworth Cheese Curds. This event is handicap accessible. 

Windmill Days Parade 

  • Saturday, June 6th 
  • Parade begins at 12 p.m.
  • Main Street, Baldwin, WI

Kick off summer at the Baldwin Windmill Days parade! Ellsworth Creamery will be in the parade handing out curds on Main Street.

Dunn County Brunch 

  • Saturday, June 13th

We’re excited to host this years’ Dunn County Dairy Brunch at our Menomonie location! Enjoy sandwiches, ice cream, animals, and plenty of Ellsworth cheese curds. While you’re here, stop into our retail store and take a self guided tour of the cheesemaking process through our viewing windows.

Showdown in Curdtown 

  • Saturday, June 13th

Try some deep-fried Ellsworth Cheese curds at the Showdown in Curdtown Truck and Tractor Pull!

Buffalo County Dairy Breakfast

Hosted by Buffalo Ridge Organic, the Buffalo County dairy breakfast will include breakfast, farm tours, and Ellsworth cheese curds.

Pepin County Dairy Breakfast

Cheese Curd Festival

As the Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin, it’s only fitting to celebrate Cheese Curd Days. In addition to live music, the cheese curd eating contest, and artisan marketplace, find Ellsworth cheese curds at the festival!
